How would you say it?

1. 점심 맛있게 드시기 바랍니다 (미래) I hope you have a nice lunch

2. 점심 맛있게 드시고 계신거면 좋겠습니다 (현재) I hope you are having a nice lunch

3. 점심은 맛있게 드셨길 바랍니다 (과거)  I hope you had a nice lunch

너 지금 알고 가는거면 좋겠다 I hope you know where you are going

내가 하버드를 안갔으면 좋았을텐데 I wish I didn't go to Harvard / I wish I'd never gone to Harvard

I hope (that) S V ~~  S가 V하는지 확실하지 않을 때

I wish (that) S V ~~ 실제(사실)와 반대의 상황을 바랄 때

I wish it weren't raining 밖에 비가 오는 상황

I hope it is not raining 밖에 비가 오는지 안오는지 모르는 상황

본 개념은 wish 가 가지는 구도에서 1번에만 해당한다

1. wish (that) S V ~~~~

2. wish sby sth

- I wanted to wish you a happy birthday

- We wish you a Merry Christmas

- Wish me luck

3. wish to V ~~~~~

A: What the hell are you?

B: I wish I knew

I hope you are learning a lot from this (Kate쌤 관점)

I wish I was learning a lot from this (학생 관점)

A: Is she in trouble? She is in trouble, isn't she?

B: I hope not (확실하지 않지만 아니면 좋겠어) / 확실하면, I wish she wasn't

A: I wish I'd never met you

B: I wish you'd never been born

I wish I could eat Nutella all the time

I wish I could say "NEITHER"

I wish I had said I love you
